Greed is a dice game for two or more players, using six six-sided dice. The object of the game is to be the first to achieve a score of 5,000 points or more.
Each player takes a turn. A turn involves one or more throws of the dice.
When a player begins a turn, he throws all six dice. He then scores points.
If he fails to score any points on his first throw, then his turn ends and the play pass to the person on his left.
In order to enter the game, the player must achieve 500 points in one turn; not throw.
After a player's first throw in a turn, he may decide to set aside those dice that scored points and throw the rest of the dice or to end his turn.
Each throw at least one die must be kept in order to continue rolling.
If the player scores no points from the second throw, his turn is ended and he scores NO POINTS. Otherwise, the player may continue to throw all remaining non-scoring dice over and over again.
In addition, if a player scores with all six dice over the course of his bonus turn, he gets another bonus turn, and so on for as long as he keeps scoring with all six dice.
